Model 1612-0.
Model 1612-0 is a floor mounting, metal cutting,
vertical bandsaw machine (figure 3). It has a 16 inch throat depth, and can
accommodate a saw blade or a file band. The heavy, ribbed, cast iron table
is 24 x 24 inches; it can be adjusted for a tilt of 10, to the left or 45,
to the right.
Precision insert guides are furnished with the machine to
cover all sizes of saw band from 1/16 to 3/4 inch. The drive motor is a 208
volt, 60 cycle, 3 phase electric motor. Power is transmitted from the drive
motor to a variable speed pulley, and then to the two-speed transmission
which in turn drives the lower
