(d) When the boresight telescope and adapter are in and
seated, a red streamer should be hung on the 25mm boresight adapter
as a warning.
(17) Focus the boresight telescope on the target. This is done
by looking into the eyepiece and moving the vernier focus dial (see
figure 10) up or down and rotating the eyepiece.
To continue
boresighting requires a helper inside the turret.

(18) When the telescope has been focused, release the turret
travel lock (TM 9-2350-252-10-2, page 2-141).
WARNING
Fast motion of the 25mm gun during boresighting
could cause injury. Make sure that the turret is
in the MANUAL mode.
Move the 25mm gun very
slowly during boresighting.
(19) The 25mm gun should now be manually elevated or depressed
as needed to align the elevation crosshair in the boresight reticle
on the aiming point of the target (figure 11 on the following page).
