Set the MASTER switch to the OFF position and remove the APU
control box in accordance with (IAW) procedures in TM 9-2350-267-
20. Disconnect the APU control panel plug and check for short to
ground by placing the multimeter red probe in panel connector J
and ground the black probe to control box chassis. If 0 ohms is
indicated, repair or replace the HIGH AIR TEMPerature lamp socket
IAW the procedures in TM 9-2350-267-20.

If the multimeter remains on infinity when testing terminal J on
the APU control panel plug, reconnect the APU control box panel
plug.
If the HIGH AIR TEMPerature lamp is lit, cable lead 493
requires repair or replacement IAW the procedures shown in TM 9-
2350-267-20.
