Required maintenance for the M992 Carrier is accomplished at the Crew,
Organizational, Direct Support (DS), General Support (GS), and Depot level
of maintenance. A Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC) provided in Appendix B
of TM 9-2350-267-20 establishes the maintenance responsibilities of each
level of maintenance. Reference to the MAC ensures the authorized level of
maintenance is accomplished to commensurate with the capability of personnel
and the authorized tool sets.
