destroy
the
transistors
or
electrolytic capacitors.
Connect the test probes across the item to be checked. If the needle
is not on the meter scale, turn the RANGE switch slowly
counterclockwise one range step at a time until the needle is on the
meter. Now, zero adjust the meter.
