INTRODUCTION TO IGNITION SYSTEMS
The simple act of walking into a darkened room, flipping a light switch, and illuminating the
previously darkened room is something we take for granted in our everyday lives. We never
consider the vast electrical network that is involved in making the light come on.
Let's discuss a few factors involved in this seemingly simple act.
First of all, the house must be provided with an electrical source of power. This often originates at
a hydroelectric plant that consists of a huge dam to retain a lake of water pressure and huge
generators to convert the water pressure to electric power.
