DIFFERENTIAL
NOTE
If the engine has been running, wait 10 or 15 minutes after
stopping the engine before checking the differential oil
level.
When checking the differential oil level, the reading should be in SAFE RANGE
marking on the dipstick.
(c) Engine Governed Speed and Performance - PMCS Procedure.
Test engine for normal acceleration and power in each transmission range.
While
testing in low range, accelerate with wide-open throttle from low speed to top
speed.  Listen for unusual noises or vibrations that might indicate loose, damaged,
or excessively worn parts, or loose mountings.
(d) Engine Oil Filters - PMCS Procedure.
Replace oil filters at 750 miles, 75 hours, or quarterly.
(2) Fuel.
(a) Fuel Filters - PMCS Procedure.
Replace fuel filters at 750 miles, 75 hours, or quarterly.
(b) Fuel System - PMCS Procedure.
Tighten connections that show evidence of leaks.
(3) Electrical.
(a) Lights - PMCS Procedure.
Test the operation of the lights.  To check the infrared lamps, turn on and place
hand on the lens.  Heat will be felt if the lamp is operating properly.  Secure,
repair, or replace, as required, any broken, cracked, and discolored lenses.
