To convert inches to centimeters, multiply by 2.54.
EXAMPLE
Reduce 16 inches to centimeters.
16 x 2.54 = 40.64 cm
(4) Rule 4.
To convert inches to millimeters, multiply by 25.4.
EXAMPLE
Reduce 2 feet 8 inches to millimeters.
2 ft = 24 in + 8 in = 32 in
32 in x 25.4 = 812.8 mm
(5) Rule 5.
To convert inches to millimeters multiply by 25.4.
EXAMPLE
Reduce 11 inches to millimeters.
11 x 25.4 = 279.4 mm
