Temperature Controller (fig. 1-46).
The temperature controller mounts on a shelf located in the hull area
of the crew compartment. The controller has a rectangular shape with
connects to system wiring; the other connector has the designation
TJ1, but this connection serves as a test point connection only.
Operation.
The temperature controller controls the
temperature
of
both
the
anti-ice
system
and
the
distribution air. The controller uses the signal from the
anti-ice sensor and compares it with the control point
(43,F). If the temperature signal from the sensor differs
from the control point, the controller sends a signal to
the anti-ice valve, and the valve either opens or closes to
correct the temperature.
The temperature controller also uses the signal from the
conditioned air sensor to compare with the selected
temperature on the commander's control panel ("AIR TEMP").
When a difference exists between the conditioned air
temperature and the selected temperature, the controller
sends a signal to the temperature control valve, and the
temperature control valve either opens or closes to correct
the temperature.
