c. Holes in Oblique Drawings.
The techniques required to draw holes in oblique
drawings vary according to the surface on which you are working.
On the front
surface, and on all surfaces parallel to the front surface, holes are perfectly
round and may be drawn with the aid of a compass or a circle template.
On any
other surface, elliptical holes must be drawn.
Elliptical holes may be drawn by
using either the four-center ellipse method or by using an elliptical template.
Use only a template cut to the correct hole size, at the correct angle, which has
been correctly aligned to the elliptical hole's center line.
