Introduction
The vehicles used by the military today are extremely complex. This
complexity requires the modern day mechanic to be proficient at
troubleshooting all of the various systems that comprise the vehicle.
The purpose of this subcourse is to teach those procedures that are
necessary to effectively troubleshoot the various systems on the high
mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV).
on the HMMWV. It will then cover the troubleshooting procedures used
to accurately and effectively diagnose malfunctions within these
systems.
In task two of this lesson, the components that comprise
the electrical systems will be covered along with the troubleshooting
procedures used by the unit level mechanic.
