test equipment will be explained in the troubleshooting procedures
described in lesson 2, task 2, of this subcourse.
However, to
successfully use the STE-M1/FVS (VTM only) to run any test, it is
important to know how to hook up the test set up to the vehicle. The
STE-M1/FVS (VTM only) can be hooked up to two places on the Bradley
fighting vehicle, DCA 3 or DCA 13 on the vehicle distribution box.
NOTE
Make sure that the VTM does not touch metal.
False readings can result when the VTM touches
metal.
a. Hook Up to DCA 3. To hook up the STE-M1/FVS (VTM only) to DCA
3 on the vehicle distribution box, follow this procedure:
