REPLACING APU FUEL FILTERS.
Let the fuel drain out and at the same time observe the fuel for water and
dirt.  The fuel should appear clear so that the bottom of the container can
be seen.  For the purpose of this example, this observation reveals that the
fuel is dirty to the point that the bottom of the container cannot be seen.
This is an indication that the fuel filters are dirty, are clogging up, and
must be replaced.  The actual replacement of the fuel filters is described
in the following maintenance and repair paragraph.  After replacing the fuel
filters and bleeding the APU fuel system, as described in paragraph 5c,
beginning on the following page, the  engine is cranked; it starts and
remains running.
Therefore, no further troubleshooting is necessary.

the engine had not started upon replacement of the fuel filter, further
troubleshooting would have
