Step 5.
Remove the upper clamp on the motor from the lower clamp by removing
two lockscrews, washers.  Discard lockscrews.
Step 6.
Remove  the  lower  clamp  under  the  motor  from  the  motor
support
by
removing two locknuts, screws, and four washers.  Discard the locknuts.
Step 7.
Remove the motor support from the turret by removing two screws and
washers.
CAUTION
Equipment  can  be  damaged  if  it  is  removed  without
supporting the motor.  Support the motor before the screws
are removed.
Step 8.
Remove the motor from
the gearbox by  removing four lockscrews and
washers.
Discard the lockscrews.
Remove the preformed packing from the motor.
Discard the preformed packing.
(5) Removal of Traverse Drive Gearbox.
Step 1.
Set the turret travel lock in the locked position.
These procedures,
when needed, can be found on page 2-9 of TM 9-2350-252-10-2.
Step 2.
Remove the connecting link from the gearbox by removing the cotter pin,
washer and pin.  Discard the cotter pin.
WARNING
Accidental firing of the 25mm gun could kill or injure
soldiers.  Jack rotation could allow the 25mm gun to fire.
Do not turn switch jack 2A201J1 when removing the plug from
the gearbox.
Step 3.
Remove plugs from jacks located below and on top of the gearbox, as
follows:
(a) 2W307P1 from 2A201J1
(b) 2W307P3 from 2A201J3.
