NOTE
If  the  AP  round  does  not  release  from  the  link,  stop
pulling the AP round.
The AP round is freed by twisting
and pulling up on the AP round at the same time.
Step 12.
Remove 15th round by starting at the end of the ammo belt nearest the
turret and counting 15 rounds.  Pull 15th round from the link.
Step 13.
Separate links by lifting the right side of the ammo belt and pull out
the single link from the double link.
Step 14.
Place the loose round in the double link.
Align alignment groove on
the loose round with alignment tang on the double link.
Press down on the round
until it is fully seated.
NOTE
The last ammo belt may have less than 15 AP rounds.
Step 15.
Repeat steps 12 through 14 until all ammo is separated into 15 round
belts.
Step 16.
Unlatch and open the ammo box lid.  Remove separator from the AP ammo
box.  Stow the first 15 rounds of ammo in the AP ammo box.
NOTE
Large inserts should be used.
Be sure that round number
matches insert number.
Hold the separator with the projectile side up and place the first ammo belt in
numbered inserts.
Place rounds 1 through 4 in the middle of the separator and
