M2/M3 BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE: TURRET - OD1609 LESSON 1/TASK 2
Step 24 applies to reloading 25mm AP ammo.
Join the ammo belt to the round hanging from the AP feed chute (figure
6, view D).
Count the rounds on the loaded ammo belt below the loading rail.
Forty-nine, less the number below the loading rail, will give the number of rounds
that can be added. Join the ammo belts as required. Repeat steps 16 through 20
until the desired number of new rounds is obtained. Join the empty single link of
the new ammo belt to the empty double link of the loaded ammo belt hanging from the
AP feed chute. Place a loose round in the joined links. Align alignment groove on
the loose round with the alignment tangs on the double links. Press down until it
is fully seated.
Hang the first double-linked round (end of ammo belt) onto the
loading rail (figure 6, view E).
Hang both the 25th and 26th rounds onto the
LOAD/RELOAD 25MM AP AMMO.
