To remove the STE from the diagnostic panel (refer to figure 21), pull the
VTM circuit breaker to OFF and set the CIB ON/OFF switch to OFF.
Then open the
turret shield door.  Turn the MASTER POWER switch OFF, and remove plug CX306P1 from
jack J1 on the diagnostic panel.  Then remove the test equipment from the turret.
Finally, install the center turret floor plate.

Step 2.
When the STE has been disconnected by one of the two methods above,
remove plug CX306P2 from CIB jack J5 (refer to figure 19 on page 107).  Remove and
stow all test cables and adapters that have been used during the vehicle testing
procedures.
Step 3.
Remove plug W1P2 from CIB jack J4 and plug W1P1 from VTM jack J1 (refer
to figure 19).
