M2/M3 BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE: TURRET - OD1609 LESSON 3/TASK 3
(a)
Perform test 2390 between plug 2W202P1 and jack 2W202J1 at the diagnostic
panel jack 3.
(b)
If wiring harness tests good between plug 2W202P1 and jack 2W20251 during
test 2390, perform test 2391 on jack 2W202J1 at the diagnostic panel jack J3.
(c)
If no faults are found in wiring harness 2W202 during the two tests
described  in  paragraph  2c(1)(a)  and  (b)  above,  the  problem  could  be  a  loose
connection.
Therefore,  the  next  step  is  to  check  various  connections  for
tightness.
(2)
Checking Connections for Tightness.  Problems in the launcher lift can be
caused by loose connections.
The following inspections should be made for loose
connections.  Whenever a loose connection is found, it should be tightened.
First, turn the MASTER POWER switch and the TURRET POWER switch OFF.
Then perform
these connections checks:
(a)
Check connection 2W5P2 to 2A5J1 (figure 31).
(b)
Remove  right  turret  floor  plate  (TM  9-2350-252-20-2-2,  page
4-22).
Inspect connections 2W2P2 to 2A1J12, 2W301P4 to 2A1J4, and 2W5P5 to 2A1J14.
