M2/M3 BFV: FIRE CONTROL SYSTEM - OD1608 - LESSON 2/TASK 2
NOTE
During
the
test
procedure,
the
STE
set
communicator  (SETCOM)  may  display  instructions
referring  to  one  of  several  indexes.
The
contents of these indexes will not be reproduced
in this subcourse.
Instead, reference will be
made to the technical manual in which the index
can be found, when needed.
NOTE
During  the  test  procedure,  several  pathways
develop  depending  on  the  results  obtained  for
individual  tests  being  run.
Not  all  pathways
will be covered in this subcourse.
One typical
pathway  will  be  used  as  an  example.
When
actually performing the test on the vehicle, be
sure to have the TM 9-2350-252-20-2-1 on hand and
respond  to  the  actual  test  results  observed
during testing.
a. Preparing for Test 2733.  Before beginning to run test 2733 on

box as described in lesson 2, task 1 on this subcourse (paragraph 4a

(2) Perform the STE self-test (lesson 2, task 1, paragraph 5
beginning on page 71).
(3) If any faults are found during the STE self-test, refer to
the symptom index table in TM 9-4910-751-14-1, page 5-1.
(4) If no faults are found during the STE self-test, remove the
center turret floor plate (TM 9-2350-252-20-2-2, page 4-22).
b. Running Test 2733.  To run test 2733, enter 2733 on the SETCOM
