transmission uses a hydraulic torque converter in conjunction with a
range planetary for propulsion, a hydrostatic pump and motor assembly
and  combining  planetaries  for  differential  steering,  and  integral
power assisted brakes.
The  design  of  this transmission  allows  for  its  use  with  tracked
vehicles between 49 and 60 tons, with a maximum speed range between
40 to 50 mph, and an AGT 1500 gas turbine engine producing 1500 gross
horsepower @ 3000 rpm (engine output shaft).
This transmission has
the following features:

Hydraulic torque converter.

Four speed range package (forward).

Two speed reverse.

Fully automatic shifting.

All range torque converter lockup.

Hydrostatic steering system with pivot steer.

