Introduction
The vehicles used by the military today are extremely complex.  This
complexity  requires  the  modern  day  mechanic  to  be  proficient  at
troubleshooting all of the various systems that comprise the vehicle.
The purpose of this subcourse is to teach those procedures that are
necessary to effectively troubleshoot the various systems on the high
mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV).
Task one of this lesson will introduce the various mechanical systems
on the HMMWV.  It will then cover the troubleshooting procedures used
to  accurately  and  effectively  diagnose  malfunctions  within  these
systems.
In task two of this lesson, the components that comprise
the electrical systems will be covered along with the troubleshooting
procedures used by the unit level mechanic.
