LESSON 1
BASIC OSCILLOSCOPE
TASK
Describe the purpose and the initial position of the basic controls
and switches. Describe the use of screen grids to interpret
voltage amplitude and frequency measurements on the basic
oscilloscope.
CONDITIONS
The student will complete the subcourse and examination in a self­
study environment, given the subcourse booklet. After successful
completion of the examination, the student should be able to
perform the learning event, given TM 9­254 and TM 11­6625­2658­14.
STANDARD
Demonstrate your comprehension of the task by correctly answering
70% of the questions on the examination in accordance with the
latest references.
