INTRODUCTION TO GENERATORS
Periodically, we hear about areas in the country that are suffering from drought. Due to the lack of
rain and snow, the water supply has been reduced to a point where people no longer have the
amount of water needed.
The electrical system of a wheeled vehicle can be compared to the situation above. The batteries
are the heart of the electrical systems. A continuous drain on the batteries from the use of lights,
starter motor, horn, heater, and so forth, will soon cause them to reach a point of discharge where
they can no longer furnish the amount of electrical power needed.
